NEVER LIE TO A WOMAN

A man called home to his wife and said,

' Honey.... I have been asked to go fishing up in Canada with my boss & several of his Friends. We'll be gone for a week. This is a good opportunity for me to get that Promotion I've been wanting, so could you please pack enough clothes for a week and set out my rod and fishing box, we're leaving from the office & I will swing by the house to pick my things up' ' Oh! Please pack my new blue silk pyjamas. '

The wife thinks this sounds a bit fishy but being the good wife she is, did exactly what her husband asked. The following weekend he came home a little tired but otherwise looking good. The wife welcomed him home and asked if he caught many fish?

He said, 'Yes! Lots of Salmon, some Bluegill, and a few Swordfish. But why didn't you pack my new blue silk pyjamas like I asked you to do?' You'll love the answer... The wife replied, 'I did. They're in your fishing box ...' Never Lie To A Woman...!!!

hahahaha....gotcha....!

Dancing in the rain....this is love..

It was a busy morning, about 8:30, when an elderly gentleman in his 80's arrived to have stitches removed from his thumb.
He said he was in a hurry as he had an appointment at 9:00am.I took his vital signs and had him take a seat, knowing it would be over an hour before someone would be able to see him.
I saw him looking at his watch and decided, since I was not busy with another patient, I would evaluate his wound. On exam,it was well healed, so I talked to one of the doctors, got the needed supplies to remove his sutures and redress his wound.
While taking care of his wound, I asked him if he had another doctor's appointment this morning, as he was in such a hurry. The gentleman told me no, that he needed to go to the nursing home to eat breakfast with his wife. I inquired as to her health. He told me that she had been there for a while and that she was a victim of Alzheimer's Disease.
As we talked, I asked if she would be upset if he was a bit late.He replied that she no longer knew who he was, that she had not recognized him in five years now.
I was surprised, and asked him, 'And you still go every
morning, even though she doesn't know who you are?'
He smiled as he patted my hand and said,'She doesn't know me, but I still know who she is.'
I had to hold back tears as he left, I had goose bumps on my arm, and thought,'That is the kind of love I want in my life.'
True love is neither physical, nor romantic.
True love is an acceptance of all that is, has been, will be,and will not be.
With all the jokes and fun that are in e-mails, sometimes there is one that comes along that has an important message. This one I thought I could share with you:
The happiest people don't necessarily have the best of
everything; they just make the best of everything they have.
'Life isn't about how to survive the storm, but how to dance in the rain'

Sayonara....

Whoaaa......sorry cause it seems that I kindda abandoned this blog. Actual fact, NO... I think I can expressed myself better in Bahasa Language.
Just now, while driving along the coastal highway along Teluk Likas, I saw a huge cruise ship like the picture above parked at the shoreline. I saw many people enjoyed the sights of the beauty vessel.
I remembered, once taking a cruiseliner from Singapore to Langkawi. It was a memorable experience... Can't forget that small bunk bed....(really missed my own bed)
There were many exciting programmes like 'line dance exercises' and plenty of other mini 'huhas'. ..also a mini casino in the ship. Just too bad cos I don't gamble.
Foods are aplenty and before we depart to our next destination on land, the Captain of the ship joined us for the last meal and bid us farewell.
Quite an experience..but that was it. My holidaying in a cruise liner. Hopefully it won't be the very last time. *sigh*

How far would you lie to protect your loves one?

I was listening to the radio this morning whilst driving to work. The deejays were asking public opinion about something like this.

"How far would you lie to protect your loves one?"

As for me, if my loves one did something wrong, I wouldn't go to the extend of lying for him/her. I'm sorry but this is ME.. The truth always hurt, noyone's perfect in this world but every each one of us are accountable for every actions, steps and decisions we make in life.

I have my say..WHAT ABOUT YOU?

The Silent Treatment

Marriage Part 3

A man and his wife were having some problems at home and were giving each other the silent treatment. Suddenly, the man realized that the next day, he would need his wife to wake him at 5:00 am for an early morning business flight.
Not wanting to be the first to break the silence (and LOSE), he wrote on a piece of paper, 'Please wake me at 5:00 am ' He left it where he knew she would find it.
The next morning the man woke up, only to discover it was 9:00 AM and he had missed his flight. Furious, he was about to go and see why his wife hadn't wakened him, when he noticed a piece of paper by the bed. The paper said, 'It is 5:00 AM. Wake up.'

Men are not equipped for these kinds of contests.

Is it true? Have a good Laugh!

Marriage - Part I

Typical macho man married typical good-looking lady and after the wedding, he laid down the following rules:

'I'll be home when I want, if I want and at what time I want and I don't expect any hassle from you. I expect a great dinner to be on table unless I tell you that I won't be home for dinner. I'll go hunting, fishing, boozing and card-playing when I want with my old buddies and don't you give me a hard time about it. Those are my rules. Any comments?'

His new bride said, 'No, that's fine with me. Just understand that there will be sex here at seven o'clock every night ....whether you're here or not.'

(DAMN SHE'S GOOD!)

Marriage - Part II

Husband and wife had a bitter quarrel on the day of their 40th wedding anniversary!

The husband yells, 'When you die, I'm getting you a headstone that reads:'Here Lies My Wife - Cold As Ever '

'Yeah?' she replies. 'When you die, I'm getting you a headstone that reads:'Here Lies My Husband - Stiff At Last'

(HE ASKED FOR IT!)

Dear Tech Support

Dear Tech Support,

Last year I upgraded from Boyfriend 5.0 to Husband 1.0
and noticed a distinct slow down in overall system performance,
particularly in the flower and jewelry applications, which operated
flawlessly under Boyfriend 5.0.

In addition, Husband 1.0 uninstalled many other valuable
programs, such as Romance 9.5 and Personal Attention 6.5,
and then installed undesirable programs such as NBA 5.0,
NFL 3.0 and Golf Clubs 4.1.

Conversation 8.0 no longer runs, and Housecleaning 2.6
simply crashes the system. Please note that I have tried running
Nagging 5.3 to fix these problems, but to no avail.

What can I do?

Signed,
Desperate

DEAR DESPERATE,

First, keep in mind, Boyfriend 5.0 is an Entertainment
Package, while Husband 1.0 is an operating system.

Please enter command: ithoughtyoulovedme.html and
try to download Tears 6.2 and do not forget to install
the Guilt 3.0 update. If that application works as designed,
Husband1.0 should then automatically run the applications
Jewelry 2.0 and Flowers 3.5. However, remember, overuse
of the above application can cause Husband 1.0 to default to
Grumpy Silence 2.5, Happy Hour 7.0 or Beer 6.1.

Please note that Beer 6. 1 is a very bad program that will
download the Farting and Snoring Loudly Beta.
Whatever you do, DO NOT under any circumstances install
Mother-In-Law 1.0 (it runs a virus in the background
that will eventually seize control of all your system resources.)

In addition, please do not attempt to reinstall the
Boyfriend 5.0 program. These are unsupported applications
and will crash Husband 1.0. In summary, Husband 1.0 is a great
program, but it does have limited memory and cannot learn new
applications quickly. You might consider buying additional
software to improve memory and performance. We recommend:
Cooking 3.0 and Hot Lingerie 7.7.

Good Luck Babe!

5 VALUABLE LESSONS

Five (5) lessons to make you think about the way we treat people.

1 First Important Lesson - Cleaning Lady.

During my second month of college, our professor gave us a pop quiz. I was a conscientious student and had breezed through the questions until I read the last one:

'What is the first name of the woman who cleans the school?'

Surely this was some kind of joke. I had seen the cleaning woman several times. She was tall, dark-haired and in her 50s, but how would I know her name?
I handed in my paper, leaving the last question blank. Just before class ended, one student asked if the last question would count toward our quiz grade.

'Absolutely,' said the professor. 'In your careers, you will meet many people. All are significant. They deserve your attention and care, even if all you do is smile and say 'hello.'
I've never forgotten that lesson. I also learned her name was Dorothy.

2. Second Important Lesson - Pickup in the Rain

One night, at 11:30p.m., an older African American woman was standing on the side of an Alabama highway trying to endure a lashing rainstorm. Her car had broken down and she desperately needed a ride.Soaking wet, she decided to flag down the next car.A young white man stopped to help her, generally unheard of in those conflict-filled 60s. The man took her to safety, helped her get assistance and put her into a taxicab.

She seemed to be in a big hurry, but wrote down his address and thanked him. Seven days went by and a knock came on the man's door. To his surprise, a giant console color TV was delivered to his home. A special note was attached.

It read:'Thank you so much for assisting me on the highway the other night. The rain drenched not only my clothes, but also my spirits. Then you came along. Because of you, I was able to make it to my dying husband's bedside just before he passed away...God bless you for helping me and unselfishly serving others.'

Sincerely, Mrs. Nat King Cole.

3 Third Important Lesson - Always remember those who serve.

In the days when an ice cream sundae cost much less, a 10-year-old boy entered a hotel coffee shop and sat at a table. A waitress put a glass of water in front of him.

'How much is an ice cream sundae?' he asked.

'Fifty cents,' replied the waitress.

The little boy pulled is hand out of his pocket and studied the coins in it.
'Well, how much is a plain dish of ice cream?' heinquired.

By now more people were waiting for a table and the waitress was growing impatient.
'Thirty-five cents,' she brusquely replied.

The little boy again counted his coins.
'I'll have the plain ice cream,' he said.

The waitress brought the ice cream, put the bill on the table and walked away. The boy finished the ice cream, paid the cashier and left. When the waitress came back, she began to cry as she wiped down the table. There, placed neatly beside the empty dish, were two nickels and five pennies..

You see, he couldn't have the sundae, because he had to have enough left to leave her a tip.

4 Fourth Important Lesson. - The obstacle in Our Path.

In ancient times, a King had a boulder placed on a roadway. Then he hid himself and watched to see if anyone would remove the huge rock. Some of the King's wealthiest merchants and courtiers came by and simply walked around it. Many loudly blamed the King for not keeping the roads clear, but none did anything about getting the stone out of the way.

Then a peasant came along carrying a load of vegetables. Upon approaching the boulder, the peasant laid down his burden and tried to move the stone to the side of the road. After much pushing and straining, he finally succeeded. After the peasant picked up his load of vegetables, he noticed a purse lying in the road where the boulder had been. The purse contained many gold coins and a note from the King indicating that the gold was for the person who removed the boulder from the roadway. The peasant learned what many of us never understand!
Every obstacle presents an opportunity to improve our condition.

5 - Fifth Important Lesson - Giving When it Counts...

Many years ago, when I worked as a volunteer at ahospital, I got to know a little girl named Liz who was suffering from a rare & serious disease. Her only chance of recovery appeared to be a blood transfusion from her 5-year old brother, who had miraculously survived the same disease and had developed the antibodies needed to combat the illness. The doctor explained the situation to her little brother, and asked the little boy if he would be willing to give his blood to his sister.

I saw him hesitate for only a moment before taking a deep breath and saying, 'Yes I'll do it if it will save her.' As the transfusion progressed, he lay in bed next to his sister and smiled, as we all did, seeing the color returning to her cheek. Then his face grew pale and his smile faded.
He looked up at the doctor and asked with a trembling voice, 'Will I start to die right away'.
Being young, the little boy had misunderstood the doctor; he thought he was going to have to give his sister all of his blood in order to save her but he had chosen to save her anyway.

Scars of Love

Read this to the end. It will lift you... it lifted me.

Some years ago, on a hot summer day in south Florida, a little boy decided to go for a swim in the old swimming hole that was behind his house. In a hurry to dive into the cool water, he ran out the back door, leaving behind shoes, socks, and shirt as he went. He flew into the water, not realizing that as he swam toward the middle of the lake, an alligator was swimming toward the shore.

In the house, his mother was looking out the window. She saw the two as they got closer and closer together. In utter fear, she ran toward the water, yelling to her son as loudly as she could. Hearing her voice, the little boy became alarmed, and made a U-turn to swim to his mother. It was too late.

Just as he reached her, the alligator reached him. From the dock, the mother grabbed her little boy by the arms, just as the alligator snatched his legs. That began a very incredible tug-of-war between the two. The alligator was much stronger than the mother, but the mother was much too passionate to let go. A farmer happened to drive by, heard her screams, raced from his truck, took aim, and shot the alligator.

Remarkably, after weeks and weeks in the hospital, the little boy survived. His legs were extremely scarred by the vicious attack of the animal. On his arms, there were deep scratches where his mother's fingernails dug into his flesh;in her effort to hang on to the son she loved.

The newspaper reporter, who interviewed the boy after the trauma, asked the boy if he would show him his scars. The boy lifted his pant legs. Then, with obvious pride, he said to the reporter, 'But look at my arms. I have great scars on my arms, too. I have them because my Mom wouldn't let go.'

You and I can identify with that little boy. We have scars, too. No, not from an alligator, but the scars of a painful past. Some of those scars are unsightly, and have caused us deep regret. But, some wounds, my friend, are because God has refused to let go.

In the midst of your struggle, He's been right there, holding on to you. . That is when the tug-of-war begins. If you have the scars of His love on your arms, be very, very grateful. He will not ever let you go.

God has blessed you, so that you can be a blessing to others. You just never know where a person is in his/her life, and what they are going through. Never judge other persons scars, because you don't know how they got them.

Right now, someone needs to know that God loves them, and you love them too ~enough to not let them go!!! God bless you!

This is so hilarious..

If this story doesn't make you cry for laughing so hard, let me know and I'll pray for you..

This is a story about a couple who had been happily married for years. The only friction in their marriage was the husband's habit of farting loudly every morning when he awoke..

The noise would wake his wife and the smell would make her eyes water and make her gasp for air. So, every morning she would plead with him to stop ripping them off because it was making her sick. he told her he couldn't stop it and that is was perfectly natural.

She told him to see a doctor, she was concerned that one day he would blow his guts out. The years went by and he continued to rip them out. Then one Christmas morning as she was preparing the turkey for dinner and he was upstairs sound asleep, she looked at the innards and neck, gizzard, liver and all the spare parts and a malicious thought came to her. She took the bowl and went upstairs where her husband was sound asleep and gently pulling the bed covers back, she pulled back the elastic waistband of his underpants and emptied the bowl of turkey guts into his shorts.

Some time later she heard her husband waken with his usual trumpeting which was followed by a blood curdling scream and the sound of frantic footsteps as he ran into the bath room. The wife could hardly control herself as she rolled on the floor laughing. Tears in her eyes!

After years of torture, she reckoned she had got him back pretty good. About twenty minutes later, her husband came downstairs in his bloodstained underpants with a look of horror on his face. She bit her lip as she asked him what the matter was.

He said, "Honey, you were right..all these years you have warned me and I didn't listen to you"

"What do you mean?" asked his wife.

"Well, you always told me that one day I would end up farting my guts out, and today it finally happened..but by the grace of God, some vaseline and two fingers, I think I got most of them back in!!!!!

This is beyond joke...Hahaha

I was walking through the supermarket to pick up a few things when I noticed an old lady following me around. Thinking nothing of it, I ignored her and continued on. Finally I went to the checkout line, but she got in front of me.

"Pardon me," she said, "I'm sorry if my staring at you has made you feel uncomfortable. It's just that you look just like my son, who just died recently."

"I'm very sorry," I said to her, "Is there anything I can do for you?"

"Yes," she said, "As I'm leaving, can you say 'Good bye, Mom?' It would make me feel so much better."

"Sure," I said.

An odd request, but no harm would come of it. As the old woman was leaving, I called out, "Good Bye, Mom!" As I stepped up to the checkout counter, I saw that my total was $1027.50. "How can that be?" I asked, "I only purchased a few things!" "Your mother said that you would pay for her," said the clerk.

A LETTER

Dear Son, dear Daughter,

The day you find that I have become very old, try to have same patience with me and try to understand me.
If I get dirty while eating...If I have some difficulty dressing...be patient! Remember the hours that I spent teaching you those things when you were small.
If I repeat the same thing dozens of time, do not interupt me! Listen to me!
When you were small, you kept asking me to read the same story, evening after evening, until you feel asleep. And I did it happily.
If I do not wash myself so often under the shower, do not reprimand and do not tell me that it is a shame. Remember how many excuses I had to invent to make you take a bath when you were small.
I taught you so many things..to eat well...to dress well..to behave well...how to confront the problems of the life.
If I sometimes lose memory or am not able to follow a conversation, give me the necessary time to recollect and if I do not get there, do not become nervous and arrogant person because the most important thing for me is to be with you and to be able to speak to you.
If I refuse to eat, do not force me! I know very well when I am hungry and when I am not hungry.
When my poor legs will not allow me to move as before, help me in the same way as when I held your hands to teach you take your first steps.
And when one day I shall say to you that I do not want to live anymore...that I want to die, do not get angry because one day you will understands.
Try to understand that certain age, we do not really live anymore. we simply survive.
One day, you will understand that in spite of all my errors, I always wanted what is best for you.
You do not have to feel sad, unfortunate or incompetent infront of my old age and of my state. You have to stay near me, try to understand what I live for.
Help me walk, help me to end my life with love and patience. The only thing that I need from you is a smile and a lot of love.

I love you my son, my daughter...

Your Dad, Your Mom

I DON'T THINK IT'S FUNNY

"Sawadeeka"...I was greeted that night whilst walking into
a hotel in Bangkok, few years ago. I don't know what it meant
but it's their common greetings when they meet someone.

Our tour guide, a lady, told us that if you are a woman..

greetings should be "sawadeeka" and for a man, "sawadeekap".
See the difference?

But this is not what I intend to write today.
Few weeks ago I came across
http://www.piasau.com/
under the Bahasa article "Dikejar oleh Pondan" by Sanny.

(His encounter with a ladyboy at a dark alley) I wanted
so much to comment about this, but I hold it back.. I
thought, maybe someday, when I'm ready to have a blog,

I'll write it down instead for all to read. So..here I am!

I remembered going to a show in Pattaya, Thailand...

what's the name again..let me think..hmm..yes,
"Tiffany"..Yes! yes! that's the name. I don't know whether
you've seen this Tiffany show or not? There's skits, dancing
and fashion show alike in this show..and the actor/actresses..

are the 'aquas'...but I rather called them ladyboy.

These ladyboys are georgeous.. maybe not like the one our

dear friend Sanny, met at the dark alley.. but these ladyboys
are stunning, tall and very sexy. I can't recalled how much we
paid for the show but it was really entertaining. The place was
like a mini opera house. Right after the show, these entertainers
will meet the crowds and a certain amount is charged for a
snapshot.

I was quite curious that evening and being a friendly person,

I queried our lady tour guide about these ladyboys.
She told me that these ladyboys spent a large sum of money
to keep their body intact like that. They took hormonal jabs
every week to maintain their figure..you know what I mean?

Being very anxious, wanting to know more, I asked her further..

" What about their life- span..? I mean, with all the jabbings
(Got such word or not?)..every week..must be risky and
damaging to health, isn't it? This was her reply.."60years if they are
lucky..but mostly until 40years".

GULP! no more questions about them. Another Tiffany show?

Sorry..not for me. I would never want to see another Tiffany
show..I can't bear to learn the truth behind the scene.

WILL YOUR ANCHOR HOLD

I've read so many poems in my life but I guessed this is the best!

Will your anchor hold in the storms of life
When the clouds unfold their wings of strife
When the strong tides lift, and the cable strain
Will your anchor drift or firm remain

We have an anchor that keeps the soul
Steadfast and Sure while the billows roll
Fastened to the rock which cannot move
Grounded firm and deep in the Saviour's love

Will your anchor hold in the straits of fear
When the breakers roar and the reef is near
While the surges rave, and wild winds blow
Shall the angry waves then your bark overflow

Will your anchor hold in the floods of death
When the waters cold chill your latest breath
On the rising tide you can never fail
While your anchor holds within the veil

While your eyes behold through the morning light
The city of gold and the harbour bright
Will your anchor safe by the heavenly shore
When life's storm are past forevermore

On Relationship..

A teacher tested her students with a question about the present Seven Wonders of The World. she expected to hear a list like: (1) the Great Pyramid, (2) the Taj Mahal (3) the Grand Canyon (4) the Panama Canal (5) the Empire State Building (6) St Peter's Basilica (7) the Great wall of China.
One girl seem to be having trouble with the question but finally turned her paper in.
Her answers were unexpected.

"The Seven Wonders of the World are : to see, to hear, to touch, to feel, to laugh, and to love."

I think of all the gadgets and soaring high building that we human build, nothing is more important than relationship. That is why, friends are so important.

I have only this secret in maintaining good friendship -" treat others the way you yourself wish to be treated".

LET"S HAVE A LAUGH...

This is hilarious...even an Englishman could not construct sentences using numbers! Exclusively only to great Malaysian and Singaporean........

Ah Lek was asked to make a sentence using 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 and 10 . Not only did he do it 1 to 10, he did it again back to 1.

This was what he came up with...

1 day I go 2 climb up a 3 outside a house to peep. But the couple saw me, so I panic and 4 down. The man rush out and wanted to 5 with me. I run so fast until I felt 6 and throw up. So I go into 7 eleven and grab some 8 to throw at him. Then I took a 9 and try to stab him. 10 God he run away. So, I put the 9 back and pay for the 8 and left 7 eleven. Next day, I call my boss and say I am 6 . He said 5 , tomorrow also no need to come back 4 work. He also asks me to climb a 3 ! and jump down. I don't understand, I so nice 2 him but I don't know what he 1 .

A JOURNEY OF FRIENDSHIP

I thank God for a good life He's given me. It's not so much about things of the world..but I found that the most precious gifts God has given me are true friends. They are pearls and precious stones, very valuable. My friends, to those that I know..and to those that yet to come...I dedicate this blog to all of you. Cheers!

Jade - Thank you for being there when I most needed a shoulder to cry on.
You are my little laughing angel, you are smart and you ROCK!

Pearl - I cried many years for a loss of a sister, but God replace me YOU.

Eleen - My motivator. You make me smile with your easy going..."It's okay maa..." attitude.
very positive...Thank God for positive people like you.

KVun - Hehe....YES Maam'...No need to elaborate la..huhuhu..love you!

Audrey - My sister....how blessed are those who know you.

Grace - My partner...my best buddy.

Josephine H - You are God sent angel..Thank you for helping me out in my times of need.

..and a toast to Shirley, Pat, May, P.Amy, P.Sonia, P.Margaret, Sis Dora...and a whole lot more.
Words cannot describe how much every each one of you mean to me. I'd learned about trust, caring, risk-taking and all that friendship could embrace in our hurried and harried lives.

Trully indeed " Great things are done by people who think great thoughts and then go out into the world to make their dreams come true"....

I saw all of you ..just did that!

with much love and regards...always....
